It was a fun filled festive week of Christmas activities in Drinagh NS in the run up to the Christmas holidays. From Christmas baking to wreath making, Christmas games, Secret Santa and Christmas themed arts and crafts, we really got into the Christmas spirit.
Students and staff of Drinagh NS would like to wish you all a very happy Christmas and best wishes for 2024.

The boys and girls in the senior room had a busy final week of Christmas wreath making. We can't commend you enough for your enthusiasm, hard work and teamwork throughout the Junior Entrepreneur process. We would like to thank the parent body for supporting our project so generously which resulted in 122 wreaths being sold. A special thank you to Ms Swanton for designing and printing 3d stars with 4th class and the biggest thank you of all to the wonderfully talented and dedicated Mrs O' Mahony who oversaw the making of each and every one of the Christmas wreaths.
We hope the mums and dads enjoyed receiving their Christmas cards in the post. The junior and senior infants had great fun writing them, walking through the village to the post box and posting them.
Well done to the boys and girls for their part in telling the story of the Nativity. Everyone made a contribution and put in lots of effort and lots and lots of practice which made it a beautiful carol service.
The students and staff of Drinagh NS would like to thank local charity Tar Isteach for their donation. We really appreciate the kind donation they make every year.
