After a wonderful visit to Tír na Sí farm on the their school tour the boys and girls in Mrs Perkin's room had no idea they were off on another farm visit to none other than local farmer Julieanne Fitzpatrick. They had a jam packed day from feeding calves, touring around the farm to a feast in the shed. A big go raibh míle maith agat to Julieanne for her generosity and for giving us such a memorable day.

On Wednesday morning we had the pleasure of holding a whole school music concert. 3rd to 6th class played a variety of tunes they have learned on the tin whistle over the course of the year, Mrs Perkins room sang a firm favourite Bingo and a song as Gaeilge, An Leipreacháin and Ms Swanton's room performed a rousing rendition of the Rattlin Bog. Well done to all of the wonderful musicians and singers and a big thank you to our fantastic music teacher Mrs French.
The boys and girls in 3rd to 6th class dodged their way through lunchtime this week. A big thanks to transition year student Eimear Collins for organising the tournament.
We had a great day at our Drinagh NS annual sport's day, well done to everyone for taking part. The children ran, jumped and best of all laughed their way over the finish line. The surprise appearance of the ice-cream truck was a big hit with students and staff too!
