At present we are working to achieve Active Flag status.
The Active Flag is a Department of Education and Skills non-competitive initiative which recognises schools that strive to achieve a physically active school community .The school is awarded the Active School Flag for this achievement.
Once awarded the flag remains valid for three years. To achieve the flag we will work on new ways to encourage all pupils to become more active. We will endeavour to get pupils more active at playtime as well as providing opportunities to experience a wide variety of sports as well as maintaining sports more traditional to our school.
Our Active Committee
All the children in the school are on the committee as we feel it is important that all children feel involved in promoting an active lifestyle.
