Mrs. Perkins room were busy building and designing towers as part of Engineering Week. The class experiment with different designs and materials. They problem solved when certain designs did not work and investigated what materials worked well and how these materials affected the design of the structures.
Well done to our boys team who competed in the FAI Primary Schools 5's today in Clonakilty. Unfortunately they didn't qualify for the next round but the lads competed bravely in some tough conditions.  Congrats to the Girls Soccer team who won their respective first round group of the FAI 5-aside Primary Schools competition in Clonakilty this week. The Girls were undefeated in their group, playing some great football against schools such as Kilmeen, Castlelack, Lisavaird, Carrigboy and Coomhola National School. They await the next stage of the competition.    |
