For St Patricks weekend, all the children performed songs, dances and musical entertainment for each other to celebrate our unique Irish culture. All the children took part in the Siege of Ennis dance after. The school were delighted to support Dunmanway Comhaltas by having a non uniform day.

The 6 week Lunch time leagues came to a finish on Friday with Arsenal and Manchester United competing in the Final. In an exciting game watched by all the school Arsenal came out on top. Well done to all the children involved.
Ms Daly's 2nd and 3rd class were experimenting with the bridge building process, seeing what the best way was to build a bridge and the engineering behind it.
6th Class students made pancakes for all the children in the school with help from Ms O'Mahony and Katie.
We are delighted to have Eoin Daly from Clann na nGael GAA Club, in with us over the coming weeks. He will be delivering Gaelic football coaching to all the children in the School every Wednesday.
Drinagh NS were delighted to purchase ten new laptops recently from Drinagh Retail. These laptops will be a big asset to the School as we enter into a 3 year Robotics programme and will no doubt support a range of learning opportunities for the children.
Dave Brooks from An Taisce came to visit us to speak to all the children about what they have done to support Biodiversity in our school and community. A successful visit would help us towards our 5th green flag. Dave was very impressed by all their knowledge and initiatives.
