 A big congratulations to our wonderful Graduation Class of 2026! They did themselves, their families and our school incredibly proud with a beautiful graduation ceremony and a rousing rendition of Killeallagh.
It was a very special occasion as we looked back through a slideshow of their many happy memories in Drinagh NS and reflected on how much they have grown and developed into the fantastic young people they are today. We wish them every success and happiness as they begin their new journey in secondary school.

We had a fantastic time at our Whole School Fun Day. There was plenty of fun, laughter and a healthy dose of competition throughout the day.
From bingo with Mrs O’Mahony to tug of war, the three-legged race and sack race with Mr. Cronin, there was something for everyone. The dodgeball was highly competitive, and of course, no Fun Day would be complete without the bouncy castle! A brilliant way to spend a sunny Wednesday and celebrate the final week of another wonderful school year. A Fantastic Day Out at West Cork Secret!
Drinagh NS enjoyed a fantastic whole-school tour to West Cork Secret! Our pupils got up close and personal with Mother Nature as they explored the woodlands and took part in exciting orienteering activities. The fun continued with Go-Karting, team-building games, a selection of assault courses and, of course, the famous West Cork Secret Waterslide! And what better way to finish off a brilliant day than with some delicious pizza. We were very thankful for a sunny Friday morning as we completed our whole-school walk, organised by Ms Swanton and the School Council. We were also grateful for the generous donations received in support of the event. The School Council has decided to use the funds raised to purchase new playground equipment for the school, while also making a donation to charity.
Take a little glimpse into life in the Junior Room, full of play, creativity, and teamwork! From building the tallest towers to taking part in trust-based orienteering. The girls in first class really enjoyed guiding their blindfolded partners around the school grounds, showing great communication and trust in each other.
