We are delighted to have Cycle Sense give children the chance to learn skills to cycle safely on today’s roads. They will complete 5 weeks with 4th, 5th and 6th class students.
Boys and girls from 3rd and 4th class took part in the FAI Futsol Competition. It took place in Saile Sports centre in Kinsale. The team did very well and were unlucky to lose out in the semi Final. We are very thankful of Mike and Eileen Coakley Plant Hire for their sponsorship of food in Billies after the tournament. It went down a treat with all the kids! We are also very appreciative to Robbie McQueen and JJ Hurley from Drinagh Rangers who managed the team on the day.
4th, 5th and 6th Class got the opportunity to travel to Inchydoney beach and try an orienteering course. Well done to every team who completed the two courses on offer. Congratulations to Kenny & Ryan who completed the 6th class course in the quickest time and to Emma and Laura who completed the 5th class course in the quickest time.
